Here are the general rules for the forum. These do not apply to the roleplaying section at all. A seperate set of rules will be found there.

If any of these rules are broken you shall recieve a warning asking you to kindly stop what you are doing. If you continue in what you are doing you will recieve an official warning that will appear on your profile. If you recieve 3-4 warnings, depending on the severity of the situation, you will be temporarily or permanantly banned from this site.

1. Violence or racial intolerance.
2. Illicit drugs or drug paraphernalia.
3. Pornographic, XXX material, exploitation of minors, adult, babes or mature content.
4. Excessive profanity/vulgar languages.
The degree of the excessiveness will be determined by the Moderator, if you don't want to be banned for this offence, keep your swearing down to Curse Words.
5. Hacking/cracking content.
6. Illegal MP3/Movie/Applications/****/P2P/Emule link (It is also illegal to provide links to illegal files hosted on other websites).
7. Illicit or illegal content (Including yahoo rares, yahoo cracks, etc).
8. Bigotry, racism, hatred, material which may be insulting to another person(s) or company.
9. Copyrighted material, trademarks, trade secrets or other intellectual property rights used without proper authorization, material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export control laws.
10. Mail fraud, pyramid schemes.
11. Redirection to another services.
12. Asking for personal information about other members from staff member(s) (IP, E-mail, etc.)
13. Personal information about you or someone else (Addresses, Phone numbers etc...): Displaying or Asking.

These will mostly result in a permanant ban as we do not accept this content. Rarely do we let an incident involving this slide.

Advertising

1. Do not Advertise websites. This includes making a new topic, designed simply to promote a service or website, or posting in an existing one.
2. You may post links to Websites in your Signature. You click at your own risk.
3. Posting links to
- interesting sites
- that you don't own
- is likely to spark conversation
- doesn't promote a product
...is acceptable. For example: an article found on a website.

Posting

1. DOUBLE POSTING is frowned upon, but may be accepted depending on circumstance:
- You've run out of allowed images per post.
- You're creating a Forum Game, or other very large post, and need more space.
- New information will only make sense if created in an entirely new post. Be careful, Moderators will use their judgement to decide if this is true.
2. If you have content you feel might be inappropriate but DOESN'T conflict with our rules, don't hesitate to place [NSFW] (Not Safe For Work) into the Topic or next to the Link.

Bumping and Existing Topics

1. You should always search to make sure the topic you're creating doesn't already exist!
2. There is nothing in the rules that says Bumping dead topics is not allowed... (you can't even report it), if a topic is dead and someone has revived, don't reply; and it'll stay that way!
3. HOWEVER, mass bumping, and bumping your own topic is not allowed.
Bumping your own topic might be allowed when adding content to Galleries (IE. Picture Galleries)
4. Moderators have the right to lock topics they feel do not need to be bumped any more.

Other

1. Inappropriate usernames and words are unacceptable, please refrain from using any in that context.
2. If you are to offend somebody be sure you have a valid reason to back you up. Even though offending other members is frowned upon if you have a valid reason and solid proof the Write It Out staff will contemplate on if they should punish you or not.

Any questions, feel free to contact me, any other admin or mod. We will be pleased to help you.

Thank you for your time,
Pom~
